Loved it eventhough I sucked at it. 3 rounds + 15 wall balls and 38 jumpropes (single). This would be fun to do again in 7 days and compare score a week later.
7 Rds. Ok, so I was pretty smoked after this one. Found it to be a difficult transition from the wall balls to the double unders. I'm improving on the double unders and not whipping myself as bad. That's a good thing as my arms can't take too much more! It feels good to string a bunch of these together. This WOD definitely gave me the feeling of running wind sprints. Lungs were burning out of my chest! Did not eat anything before and felt pretty puky afterwards. Anyone have any suggestions on a healthy snack right before a WOD to aid in energy and recovery?? It's hard to eat something at 5 AM when you've just rolled out of bed!

ReplyDeleteTry a zone bar. It has sugar, but it does provide carbs, protein, and Fat for a quick and easy 2 block snack.
